I am excited to share a big announcement with you, Feldman Physical Therapy continues to grow and as we do we have realized that our name doesn’t do a great job of exemplifying the many services we offer, because of that I am happy to announce that Feldman Physical Therapy is now, Feldman Physical Therapy and Performance!

As Feldman Physical Therapy continues to grow, we have realized that our name doesn’t exemplify the many services we offer. Because of that I am happy to announce that Feldman Physical Therapy is now, Feldman Physical Therapy and Performance!

When I founded Feldman Physical Therapy a little more than three years ago, my mission was simply to deliver the highest level of care possible to the people of the Hudson Valley.  As physical therapists we have a unique knowledge of the human body and the way it works, and that a person doesn’t’ need to have pain or a specific injury to benefit from that knowledge base.  I wanted to get away from the idea of chasing patients’ pain and symptoms, and treat the real cause of them, not just their symptoms.  I wanted to make sure they left our practice in a better place than when they first came in.  I also set an ambitious goal of trying to get patients to focus on using our services not only as a way to treat injuries, but also to prevent injuries while improving their own performance.

Since our founding, Feldman Physical Therapy quickly has become a valued resource for runners, triathletes, crossfitters, baseball players, soccer players, martial artists, and weekend warriors who all were looking to achieve the same goal: to get better at what they did, and to do whatever was possible to avoid injuries.  In order to meet the growing demand for performance-based healthcare professionals, both John and I have continued to further our education, earning certifications as functional strength coaches, speed and agility specialists, Titleist Performance Institute-golf specialists and performance enhancement specialists.  As our knowledge base and expertise has grown we felt it was time for our name to follow suit, so we have added “Performance” to our name to better show the wide array of services we are proud to offer!

While the name is new, the level of service that has helped us build our reputation remains unchanged.  Each patient always receives a full hour of one-on-one attention from his or her therapist. Everyone always receives a full and complete movement screening on evaluation and discharge, and we continue to offer the most advanced combination of manual and exercises based treatment techniques available.
